Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting; however, it is part of our community health clinic, which operates Monday through Saturday. You will enjoy the autonomy of managing your own schedule while participating in a collaborative digital workspace, where you’ll have access to necessary resources to perform your duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, ensuring that treatment interventions align with their unique needs.

• Performing initial assessments to triage care appropriately and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated care plans.
\n
• Providing ongoing counseling through evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to meet the specific objectives of each client.

• Documenting interactions and treatment plans within our health management system to maintain clear communication among staff during regular patient rounds.

• Managing assigned cases by coordinating care with community resources and professionals, ensuring a comprehensive support network for each patient.

• Completing required documentation promptly and ethically to adhere to regulatory standards and departmental expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse client base within the Yonkers community, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various mental health challenges. We prioritize providing culturally competent care tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of the individuals we serve. You'll have the chance to work with clients who are looking for additional coping strategies during crisis situations, as well as ongoing therapeutic support.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Registered (LCSW-R) in New York State.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, emphasizing outpatient therapy.
\n
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an emphasis on behavioral science or mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
