Front of House (FOH) Manager - New Restaurant Opening

Job Description

We are partnering with an exciting new culinary concept preparing for a grand opening to find a dynamic, polished, and service-driven Front of House Manager to lead the guest experience in an upscale casual Southern and seafood restaurant. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, sets the tone for hospitality, and is passionate about delivering a refined yet welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, and host stand
Ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience from arrival to departure
Train, coach, and develop servers, hosts, and bartenders on service standards
Actively manage the floor during service, including table touches and service pacing
Oversee reservations, seating flow, and waitlist management
Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency
Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth service execution
Manage FOH scheduling, labor costs, and staff performance
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all guest-facing areas

Qualifications

3+ years of front-of-house or restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale casual or high-volume environments
Strong background in hospitality and guest service excellence
Proven ability to lead and motivate service teams
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with POS systems and reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable), required
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
