In this role, you will collect blood from patients, take their vitals and do various patient contact intake. This is a role that can make a significant impact in people's lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy. Responsibilities * Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency * Collect patients' personal information * Take vitals and perform some lab work. * Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process * Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood * Correctly label samples and send for testing Qualifications * Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician * Phlebotomy diploma preferred * Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods * Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples * Strong computer and data entry skills * Certified Medical Assistant
