Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the counseling needs of each client, identifying key areas for intervention and support.

• Utilizing the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to evaluate clients for substance use disorders, guiding recommendations for the appropriate levels of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) guidelines.

• Developing tailored treatment plans that encompass the specific substance abuse counseling needs of your clients, ensuring they receive individualized care.

• Crafting and executing discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions for clients moving through different stages of their recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of all counseling sessions, assessments, referrals, and follow-ups within the clients' clinical records to ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care.

• Managing a caseload of clients, including regular updates on treatment plans and clinical charting as required, to keep client care consistent and responsive.

• Coordinating with families and support services to enhance treatment effectiveness, ensuring that all efforts are logged in the client’s records.

• Engaging with external referral sources, such as legal authorities and educational institutions, to ensure a well-rounded support system for clients.

Qualifications\n
