Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on psychosocial assessments, incorporating established social work interventions and strategies.

• Engage and build constructive relationships with leaders from community resource groups, acting as a representative of Redesign Counseling Hub at various meetings and committees focused on addressing the social and emotional needs of students.

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing emotional upheaval or behavioral issues, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to individual circumstances.
\n
• Regularly communicate patient progress and pertinent concerns with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated care approach.
\n
• Maintain detailed and timely clinical records, including progress notes and treatment documents, in accordance with department policies and compliance requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents in need of mental health support. You will work with a diverse client base, addressing a range of challenges that may include anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and adjustment issues. Your work will directly contribute to their overall well-being and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW).

• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in clinical practice and patient management.

• Exceptional interpersonal and professional skills to practice effectively within a clinical team and to engage meaningfully with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Comprehensive knowledge of various therapeutic theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to adolescent mental health.
