This role is fully remote, allowing our Social Workers to create a work-life balance that fits their individual needs. You will work with a flexible schedule, enabling you to tailor your hours while still meeting the requirement of seeing a minimum of 25 clients weekly. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Methodist Healthcare Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality virtual therapy sessions to a caseload of clients, focusing on techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to address client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Documenting client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

• Engaging in coordination with additional health care providers and community resources to optimize client support and care.
\n
• Participating in regular supervision and continuing education to remain current on best practices in the field of social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our Social Workers will primarily serve individuals aged 18 and above, with a strong emphasis on supporting a diverse population, including individuals from minority and historically marginalized communities. Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and addressing men's mental health issues is highly valued at our center, though not mandatory. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of clients seeking guidance and support through various challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• A current and valid LCSW license to practice in New Jersey.
\n
• At least three years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a clinical setting providing psychotherapy.
\n
• Proficient in using telehealth technology and maintaining professional standards in virtual interactions.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated expertise in CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.
\n
• Experience with and commitment to serving the LGBTQIA+ community and diverse minority populations.
\n
• Prior experience in addressing men's mental health issues is a plus.

• Possession of professional malpractice insurance.

Compensation and Benefits\n
