Great opportunity for a fast promotion track to oversee a team.Approximate Salary of 90,000 – 110,000 + Bonus – based on experienceResponsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist:Assist leading team processing and reviewing payroll, completing checks, direct deposits, and union allocationsAssist with creating, maintaining and reviews of employee information including compensation, deductions, and status changesResponsible for retirement contribution processes, including 401(k) and communicating accurate data to financial institutions and third-partiesHandle employment verifications, garnishments, multi-state and local tax requirement to ensure complianceAssist with payroll tax returns and W-2sPoint of contact for employees for payroll discrepancies, union benefit calculations, tax withholdings, etc.Assist with improvements to payroll processes, systems, and internal controlsAssist with guidance and mentoring of payroll staffIdeal Experience for the Senior Payroll Specialist Role:Bachelor's Degree a plus4+ years of high volume payroll experienceEngineering, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, facilities services and/or related industry experienceUnion payroll experienceSupervisory a plusStrong systems experienceHighlights of the Senior Payroll Specialist position:Advancement opportunities, promotes from within, hybrid scheduleGreat opportunity for a fast promotion track to oversee a team401K, Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, Life and Disability InsuranceCompany is growing, has lots of long term employees
