A role as a Government Relationship Executive is for you.As a Relationship Executive in Government Banking, your primary role will be to acquire, grow and retain profitable relationships within these industry verticals. This is accomplished by focusing on the delivery of value added solutions to our clients and prospects that will help them reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship. You, as the focal point of the client relationship, will orchestrate the interfacing with clients by credit support staff and product partners. It is expected that, as a relationship executive, you will be capable of independent activity. However, our client delivery model is team based and a qualified relationship executive must be highly effective operating in a team based environment. Strong interpersonal skills should be complemented by proven client relationship skills, extensive product knowledge, technical expertise and strong transaction execution skills.Job Responsibilities:Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindsetStay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnershipsFind ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation, while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologiesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsSeven plus years direct lending or credit support related experience, with a focus on business relationshipsUnderstanding of Commercial Banking products and servicesKnowledge of the local marketAbility to collaborate with internal partners and resourcesDemonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributorSales management and business development skillsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsBachelors degree and formal credit training preferredExcellent verbal, written and listening communication skillsStrong creative solution and problem solving abilitiesProficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
