About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Pearlstone Campus, a vibrant institution that serves as a living laboratory for dynamic Jewish life and is deeply committed to the values of community, belonging, and environmental stewardship. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the campus through a significant transition, building a strong team and culture, and ensuring the institution's financial sustainability. This role requires a leader with a strong background in senior management, a proven track record in change management, and a deep connection to the mission of the organization. The Executive Director will be the key representative of the campus, engaging with the board, donors, and the broader community, and will be expected to lead in the areas of philanthropy, hospitality operations, and business strategy. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in senior leadership, with at least 5 years' in a role that involved managing department heads and multi-million dollar budgets. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the mission of the organization are essential. The role demands a leader who can build and manage a high-performing team, ensure the institution's financial health, and drive the execution of a campus master plan. Experience in the Jewish nonprofit sector, particularly in the areas of environmental education and land stewardship, is highly valued.
