Mechanical Assembler 2nd Shift (Hands-On Work, Growth, Profit Sharing) Location & Pay

Minneapolis, MN

$20.50/hr + Overtime

Shift: MonThu 2:30 PM12:00 AM | Fri 12:00 PM4:00 PM

Mandatory Friday OT as needed; occasional Saturday OT

• Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures.
• Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate mechanical assemblies.
• Install insulation and prepare panels for painting.
• Hang panels on hooks for the paint process.
• Package completed assemblies and verify parts/quantities for shipment.
• Crosstrain in multiple departments to expand your skill set.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

• 6+ months of mechanical assembly or handson mechanical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately with a tape measure.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

• Experience in automotive, metal fabrication, or mechanical environments.
• Familiarity with torque tools and metal assembly.
• Strong work ethic and interest in longterm growth.

Handson metal manufacturing environment similar to an auto body or fabrication shop.

Teamoriented, nonunion facility.

Steeltoed boots required (employee provided).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Brooklyn Park,MN.
