Construction Safety Manager Job Details Location: Shreveport, LA Duration: 8 Days (Start: 08/17/27 - 08/24/27) Type: 1099 Contractor Pay Rate: $52.50/hr Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours Per Diem: $175/Day (One Travel Day Per Diem + Per Diem for Each Day Worked) Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday‑Saturday | 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Shift Length: 10‑Hour Shifts | Sunday Off Why This Opportunity? Join a contractor supporting preliminary electrical conduit installation at an active logistics facility in Lowell, AR. This short‑term assignment offers the opportunity to oversee safety during early‑phase electrical construction activities while ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, electrical safety requirements, and site‑specific work practices within an operational facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safety professional with electrical construction knowledge who is available for an immediate short‑duration assignment. Required Qualifications One of the following is required: Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety (or related field) with 3+ years of construction safety experience CSP or CHST Certification with 5+ years of construction safety experience OSHA 500/510 Certification with 7+ years of construction safety experience Experience supporting electrical construction projects Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Electrical safety experience Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and contractor safety management Preferred Qualifications Operational facility construction experience Distribution center or logistics facility experience NFPA 70E knowledge or certification Experience supporting energized work planning Amazon project experience What You’ll Be Doing Oversee daily safety activities for electrical conduit installation Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices Support preliminary electrical construction and conduit installation activities Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre‑task plans Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project Technical Knowledge OSHA Construction Standards Electrical Construction Safety Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Fundamentals Electrical Conduit Installation Energized Work Awareness Operational Facility Construction Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation Safety Auditing & Compliance Monitoring What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a highly visible, field‑focused safety professional who can quickly integrate into an active project, ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, proactively identify hazards, and support the safe execution of conduit installation activities within an operational facility.
