Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Location: 1850 Osborn Oshkosh WI.  Free parking on site. No other locations.

Duration:  3 months possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $ 23.84

First Shift 6:00 am-2:30pm CST

HYBRID : 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE REQUIRED (preferably Mon, Tues & Wed).

INTERVIEW PROCESS EXPECTATION:

One Teams interview with Camera on possibly two depending on the pool with Mgr. and team member.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Excel fluency crucial to this role. Understanding formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.
• Past interviews had a lot of accounting people doing payroll reconciliations. This is international with different currencies (reconciled the same). Candidate needs to know operational debits/credits and how that works.
• OneNote proficiency required. In training, candidate will be expected to take good notes and build out their own processes. Team uses OneNote for personal notes.
• Any Workday knowledge would be preferred, bordering on required. Can be trained, but will make things must easier.
• Tuesday/Wednesday required onsite. Third day onsite is up to the contractor.
• Please note this is first shift. Please communicate to candidates first thing, before submittal.
• Previously ended a contract early due to skill level. Interview went well, but once they were hired on they were not proficient in Excel or OneNote.
• Organizational skills required.

  ABOUT THIS NEED:

- This position is needed to reconcile Commercial Loans within the firm .

- Fast Paced work Environments with changing priorities and accuracy

- Researching, Balancing, Reconciliation, running adjustments, General Ledger upload, mitigating potential risk.

- Expected to Complete all balancing, maintaining SLA’s, Daily goals Clearing items

- Will work with a team of 8 team members, mostly in the Oshkosh area. 

- Currently 6-month contract which may be able to extend depending on volume.

- This FTC will work with a team of 8 team members

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Processes transactions, reconciles and maintains various accounts and ledgers.

Transactions processed and maintained may include accounts payable, journal vouchers, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, ledgers, statements, billings, and/or other accounting documents.

Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.

Conducts research on discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.

Responds to and resolves inquiries. Posts data and/or checks and verifies data.

Runs and prepares routine financial reports and analyses.

Basic Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- One or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles

- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data

- Ability to manage multiple tasks

- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

- Experience with reconciliation, Accounting, General Ledger, and Banking is a plus

- 5 years or more experience is a plus
