Business Development Coordinator

Location Requirement: Applicants must reside in Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Miami, or Tampa. Work Style: Full-time, hybrid role. Fisher Phillips, a renowned international leader in employment and labor law, seeks a dynamic Business Development Coordinator to help elevate our brand, engage clients, and expand our market presence. The role reports to the Sr. Business Development Manager and provides direct support to attorneys and nationwide firm programming initiatives. Key Responsibilities Coordinate business development efforts at local and national levels, collaborating with practice groups, industry teams, and the firmwide marketing department to deliver high‑impact programs and campaigns. Assist the MBD team with administrative tasks including invoicing, vendor relations, membership management, and meeting scheduling. Support firm webinars by scheduling, drafting descriptions, submitting request forms, overseeing production, reviewing PowerPoints, and managing post‑webinar follow‑up. Help plan and execute firm events and conferences, handling budgeting, site selection, vendor and promotional item ordering, booth setup, on‑site logistics, and follow‑up. Manage promotional items for assigned practice groups/industry teams, ordering, inventory tracking, and expense invoicing, and coordinate booth logistics with external vendors. Assist with internal communications and messaging through the intranet, newsletters, and announcements. Conduct client research to identify and pursue new business development opportunities and track progress. Coordinate regional and national submissions for Chambers and other ranking directories. Contribute to a collaborative culture by bringing fresh ideas and energy to the business development and marketing functions. Requirements At least 2‑3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization. Demonstrated personal accountability, adaptability, creativity, collaboration, inclusion, and a solutions‑driven mindset. Self‑motivated, resourceful, reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize deadlines, remain poised under pressure, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written communication skills; writing experience preferred. Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills. Exceptional client service attitude and demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite events and conference support. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams). Understanding of marketing technologies, including marketing automation tools, social media tools, CRM, and experience management tools.
