Salary Range: $54,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for custom and standard products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems and other software to calculate costs, lead times, and pricing.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote status, revisions, and technical details.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements within the quoting process.
• Maintain detailed records of all quotes, including revisions and customer communications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately calculate costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective internal and external collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce)
• Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications
• Strong negotiation or influencing skills
