What you can expectThe Solutions Engineer role at Zoom offers both technical and sales opportunities. This position requires expertise in customer business needs and the Zoom Communication platform. The role involves serving as a trusted advisor, advocating for customers, and aligning technical requirements with product development. Responsibilities include testing environments, driving internal demand, and supporting Account Executives with collaboration solutions. Candidates should have experience in AI, telephony, video, and application sales. Knowledge of Zoom features like Chat, Meetings, Video, Phone, and APIs is essential. Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, RingCentral, and 8x8 is highly valued.

About the TeamThe Zoom sales team drives success by delivering advanced communication solutions to clients across industries. They engage globally with passion and foster strategic partnerships. Their customer-focused approach expands Zoom’s presence and helps businesses maximize virtual collaboration potential.

Responsibilities

• Designing and architecting next-generation communication solutions; conduct demonstrations and proof of concepts for prospective customers

• Leading solution design, selling activities, and RFQ/RFP response and preparation

• Building and sharing competitive intelligence while working across multiple boundaries to drive the Zoom vision

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years of technical experience in Collaboration technologies and 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles

• Demonstrate business acumen, executive presence, and SaaS Collaboration sales experience (web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS)

• Demonstrate In-depth knowledge of traditional voice communications systems and AI-capable applications

• Communicate excellently with ability to present technical solutions clearly to diverse audiences

• Apply end-to-end IT systems knowledge to customer solution design

• Able to mentor team members, lead when needed, and thrive in high-growth environments

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$131,200.00

Maximum:

$262,400.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
