Project Manager - Highway/RoadwayAECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Los Angeles, CA for a critical role in our organization.Responsibilities include:Assume full responsibility for the comprehensive management and administration of highway and roadway projects.Provide authoritative leadership and strategic guidance to subordinate managers.Oversee and ensure all facets of the project are constructed in strict accordance with design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements.Bear full accountability for administering the project from the budgeting and scheduling stages through procurement and contract closeout.Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans.Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.Conduct regular project status meetings with team members and stakeholders.Manage and mitigate project risks.Oversee the preparation and submission of all required project documentation.Collaborate with business development teams to identify new opportunities.Mentor and develop junior project management staff.Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering discipline + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California.Ability to proactively communicate and lead department staff.Minimum of 8 years of experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility.Experience with business development and client relations.Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects; well-versed in all aspects of project development.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Additional InformationTravel may be required for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.
