The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, along with a flexible schedule that accommodates evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history and associated mental health challenges. Developing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring that each plan is tailored to the unique needs of every client. Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to effectively engage clients in their recovery. Collaborating with fellow treatment team members, including psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff, to provide an integrated approach to client care that optimizes patient outcomes. Educating and involving clients' families in the recovery process, helping them understand addiction and supporting their loved ones through recovery. Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all relevant regulations, securing the integrity of sensitive information. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are struggling with substance abuse and related mental health disorders. You will be engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own unique experiences and challenges. Our patient demographic includes adults seeking recovery support, many of whom are navigating crises that impact their personal and professional lives. Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must possess: A valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD). A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree is strongly preferred. Specialized training or previous experience in addiction counseling, providing you with the insights needed to effectively support our clients’ journeys. Preferred Experience Ideal candidates will have: A strong foundation in evidence-based practices for addressing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Demonstrated therapeutic and counseling skills, with an emphasis on the ability to motivate and connect with clients to facilitate their recovery. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to enhance collaboration within our multidisciplinary team.
