Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Analyze patients' needs and create individualized therapy approaches that support them in accomplishing their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive processes, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and meaningful care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, ensuring progress can continue at home.
• Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep them thriving.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Ongoing professional education or post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged.

Certifications

• Current OTR/L license is required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
