Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in an engaging educational setting. This onsite position allows you to make a real difference, leveraging your expertise within a collaborative school environment. You'll work directly with a diverse student population, helping to foster positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Current state license in School Psychology
- Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a school environment
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling as needed
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads and adapting to the unique needs of the school community
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Serve as an integral member of the IEP/504 team, assisting in individualized education planning
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and administrators regarding student needs
- Deliver direct counseling services and crisis intervention as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
