As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.88 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or first responders. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, access control, and enforcement of site-specific policies while maintaining a professional and respectful presence. Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least two years of security-related experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
