Precision Heating & Air Conditioning is a 45-year-old commercial and industrial HVAC company based in Skokie, IL, specializing in nursing homes and healthcare facilities across Chicagoland. We are hiring a Commercial HVAC Field Supervisor to lead our techs in the field, and we are open to a supervisor coming from either a service or an installation background. We have never had a salesperson and pay no upsell commissions: the work is expert service and install work on real commercial equipment, backed by a mentoring culture where 18 to 20 year tenures are common.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support field technicians on commercial service calls or installation projects
• Take the lead on complex troubleshooting, major repairs, and installs, including chillers, commercial boilers, and rooftop units
• Assist with job planning and material requirements
• Mentor and train less experienced technicians and uphold quality and safety standards
• Review job documentation in ServiceTitan for accuracy
• Communicate professionally with customers and the internal team, including in occupied healthcare settings
• Respond to major after-hours emergencies when senior leadership is needed on site
• 7+ years of HVAC experience, majority commercial/industrial
• Proven lead or supervisory experience on a commercial service or installation team
• Deep background in either commercial service or commercial installs, with working knowledge of both
• Chiller experience strongly preferred; boiler and rooftop expertise expected
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment background and reference check
