Desktop & Field IT Support Specialist

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Previous hands-on field IT support experience
• Strong Tier 2 desktop support and troubleshooting experience
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to nontechnical users
• Strong prioritization and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new systems
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, or an associate degree with 3–5 years of relevant IT experience
• Experience using ITIL-focused ticket management tools
• Experience with desktop and laptop imaging
• Experience with some or all of the following technologies: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Windows 10, PXE/computer imaging, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Active Directory, iPhone and mobile device support, Citrix, Remote Desktop/Remote Assistance, HP desktops and laptops, multifunction printers, and hardware and software troubleshooting
• ServiceNow experience is preferred but not required

• Provide onsite, desk-side, and remote Tier 2 technical support
• Troubleshoot Windows computers and laptops, network connectivity, phones, printers, mobile and handheld devices
• Maintain and support hardware and software applications
• Assist with technology refresh and equipment deployment projects
• Image PCs and laptops, including through PXE-based imaging
• Provide basic Active Directory support, including password resets and account unlocks
• Manage and maintain IT assets according to established requirements
• Track and manage incidents using ITIL-focused ticket management systems
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal IT teams, vendors, and other parties while remaining the primary point of contact for end users
• Follow IT processes, procedures, and security policies
• Deliver professional, customer-focused support to business users and clients
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

We are seeking a Desktop & Field IT Support Specialist for a one-year onsite contract based in Battle Ground, Washington. In this role, you will provide Tier 2 application, desktop, and field IT support to business users and serve as an initial point of contact for IT issues. The position involves approximately 20% regional travel to field offices, including locations in Oregon, the Tri-Cities, Seattle, and Eastern Washington, as well as other sites as needed. We are looking for a hands-on professional who is comfortable working directly with users, managing competing priorities, and taking ownership of issues through resolution.
