Estimating and Project Coordinator

Vencon Construction is a general contractor based in San Francisco, specializing in residential, commercial, and tenant improvement projects with deep expertise in doors, frames, hardware, and finish carpentry. The Role This contract, hybrid / remote position supports the full lifecycle of our projects, from initial bid through completion. You'll review plans and specs, prepare detailed estimates, assist with bid proposals, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on pricing and scope. You'll also organize project documentation, track schedules and milestones, and support change orders, budget updates, and client communications keeping information accurate and current for both internal and external stakeholders. Close collaboration with our field and office teams is key to keeping projects on track and aligned with client expectations. What You Bring Construction estimating experience reviewing drawings, takeoffs, and preparing cost proposals for residential, commercial, or TI projects Project coordination skills: schedule tracking, document control, meeting notes, change order and budget support Strong analytical and organizational skills, with sharp attention to detail in data entry, cost tracking, and recordkeeping Proficiency with standard office and construction software (spreadsheets, project management tools, estimating software, digital document management) Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable collaborating remotely with PMs, field staff, clients, subs, and vendors General construction knowledge; experience with union labor or public/local projects is a plus Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Relevant education (construction management, engineering, architecture) or equivalent practical experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Vencon
