About the Role

Picture your day: you load your service truck at dawn, review the dispatch notes, and head to a customer site where a skid steer is down. You diagnose a hydraulic leak, swap a failed hose, run electrical checks on a sensor fault, and have the machine back earning by lunch. In the afternoon, you complete scheduled maintenance on a compact excavator, document your work, and consult with the customer about preventing future wear. Role Highlights

• Compensation: $35.00–$40.00 per hour based on experience.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday , typically 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What You'll Tackle

• Drive to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair compact and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose faults across diesel engines, electrical and electronic controls, hydraulic circuits, and related subsystems.
• Perform routine maintenance and condition assessments to minimize unplanned outages.
• Execute component replacements and, when required, complete major rebuilds and overhauls.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on service experience with heavy or construction equipment.
• Background working on skid steers, excavators, or equivalent machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and structured diagnostic thinking.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to perform remove-and-replace mechanical repairs.
• Welding skills applicable to equipment service.
• Clear, customer-friendly communication.
