Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations to assess individual physical conditions, reviewing medical histories, and performing specific assessments.
• Developing and explaining tailored treatment plans that incorporate patient and family input, ensuring shared decision-making in goal setting.
• Implementing effective treatment protocols that align with patients' needs and the ever-evolving healthcare environment, adapting as necessary to maximize recovery outcomes.

• Carrying out detailed documentation of patient care activities to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure continuity of care, including maintaining thorough daily encounter notes and discharge evaluations.
• Actively participating in departmental goal-setting and marketing initiatives, engaging in community outreach to promote physical therapy services.
• Incorporating time management strategies to meet productivity expectations while offering a flexible, patient-first approach.
• Serving as a clinical instructor to students in physical therapy, supporting their learning and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, as required by the American Heart Association.
