Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite in our modern facility, allowing direct interaction with patients and collaboration with our skilled team members, which includes two physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured yet flexible work-life balance conducive to personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify specific goals and needs tailored to each individual.
• Manage a balanced caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour to provide focused, quality care.
• Devise and implement effective treatment plans and utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to maximize patients' physical range and reduce pain.
• Support patients in their recovery by encouraging a reduced dependence on medication and exploring non-invasive treatment alternatives.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, targeting strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment coordination.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay updated on advancements in physical therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient physical therapy. Our clients often include individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those managing chronic conditions that impact their mobility and physical health. In addition, we welcome patients who are eager to adopt a healthier lifestyle through our tailored fitness and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state license in New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy and experience in developing and supervising exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, for comprehensive patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation settings preferably.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques and willingness to adopt new practices that enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
