Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and preparation of samples for further testing as required.
• Record all laboratory procedures with thoroughness, provide training for new staff or students, and help maintain the high-quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
