Description - What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory evaluations-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and adjustments on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples meticulously for testing when necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, provide training for new staff members or students, and uphold stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with eligibility for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
