12 month contract Location North Campus (201 Progress Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO) Onsite/Hybrid/Offsite Onsite 5 days a week Work Hours 8:00 – 5:00 with a 1-hour lunch break Team Details The team is comprised of 5 people who process the mail and one processing coordinator who provides support.

Summary/Job Description

• Sorting, processing, and distributing incoming mail, and picking up outgoing mail across North Campus buildings.
• Ensure mail is routed accurately, including identifying items for departments such as insurance, payments, or internal processing
• Handle certified mail, corporate mail, and branch mail with accuracy and accountability
• Prepare outgoing mail, including certified mailings and metered postage
• Maintain organization and follow established mail procedures and standard operating practices
• Safely transport mail using carts and deliver to designated locations
• Make informed decisions on proper mail distribution without constant supervision.

Required Qualifications

• Prior administrative experience in a professional environment
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-directed individual who takes ownership of daily tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities without continuous oversight
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Someone who can stay organized and keep operations running smoothly
• Ability to learn mail terminology and follow established procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous mail operations experience
• Previous experience in banking, insurance, and other industries which receive similar types of mail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 20 pounds consistently
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods throughout the day
