PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse Days
Join our team in Sylmar, California, as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown. Deliver exceptional care in a dynamic environment.
Position Details:
- Shift: Days, 36 hours/week, 8 week duration
- Patient Ratios: Compliant with CA State Law
- Certifications: AHA BLS, MAB/CPI, LA City Fire Card, Life Safety card (LA City)
- License: Active CA RN License
- COVID Requirement: Vaccinated and boosted
Experience / Responsibilities:
- 1+ year recent PCU experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
- Provide intermediate care for post-surgery and serious condition patients
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and respond to condition changes
- Administer medications, IVs, and perform wound care
- Travel experience preferred; local travelers welcome
Additional Information:
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue or Black preferred
- PPE: Provided
