Sales and Services Lead Associate Full Time (Non Exempt)Why Join Us?The Sales and Services Lead is responsible for fostering a welcoming environment for visitors, monitoring daily operations at the welcome desks and in the call center, and ensuring that departmental work is completed according to schedule. The Lead acts as a resource for the rest of the team by modeling best practices for all procedures, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and delivering on-the-spot coaching. This role works collaboratively with other departments to streamline operations and support consistent visitor messaging. This is a full-time position and works a variable schedule with 8 hours per shift between the hours of 9am and 8pm, except on Wednesdays when the museum is closed. Evening, weekend, and some holiday availability is required.This position reports to the Manager of Sales and Group Services in the Sales & Group Services department.Position type: This position will be covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME-CWU.Pay: The hiring hourly range for the position is $21- $25.00 based on experience. A $0.50 language differential is available for hours worked for candidates who have Spanish speaking proficiencyBenefits: A comprehensive medical/dental/vision plan, that can be extended to domestic partner, spouse, and children. Free RTD Eco Pass.What You’ll DoESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Peer ModelingLead WorkAdministrative SupportOversee call center and/or ticket office during operating hours as needed and act as a resource for questions relating to ticketing, membership, and general Museum policies.Sell memberships and tickets through ticketing POS and ensure the accurate and timely entry of daily membership salesSupport membership and donation reconciliation across business systems, ensuring proper membership campaign and gift coding is followed by staff membersAssist with reconciling cashier shifts and ensure accurate cash handling, proper opening and closing of ticket office desks and back-office operationsComplete daily department accounting by running reports and entering the required dataMonitor, document, categorize, and assign visitor feedback submitted online, onsite or over the phoneServe as role model for Associates regarding customer service, compliance with procedures and best practicesProvide on-the-spot membership sales coaching that is rooted in a sales-through-service philosophyInitiate positive redirection for Sales & Services Associates regarding any performance related issuesDevelop and facilitate training programs for new hires in collaboration with Assistant Manager of Sales and Group ServicesAssist with initial and ongoing training of AssociatesConsistent usage of the Racial Equity Lens in day-to-day operationsThis position may lead role(s) that are covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME-CWU.What We’re Looking For:Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with diverse groups of people, including visitors, staff, volunteers, and donorsAbility to work in a multi-tasking fast-paced environment.Dynamic; able and willing to be flexible if changes ariseAbility to work independently and as a teamFamiliarity with Microsoft Office SuiteSpanish language fluency preferredPrevious customer service experience requiredPrevious lead experience preferredWork Environment/Physical Activities:Sitting at computer stationsAnswering phone callsMoving around museum campus throughout the daySubject to interruptionsOccasionally lifting up to 50 lbsOur Hiring Process & What to ExpectWe know job searching can be overwhelming, so here’s a transparent look at our process:Application Close Date: September 25th, 2026Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to phone calls or emails regarding application status.
