Description:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Automotive Service Parts Coordinator to join our dealership team. This role plays an important part in supporting our service technicians by ensuring the correct parts are delivered to the technicians, organized, and ready for repair orders.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, staying organized, and supporting a service team, this is a great opportunity to build a career in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Stage parts for service repair orders for technicians
- Deliver parts to technicians in a timely and organized manner
- Assist the service and parts departments with daily workflow
- Verify part numbers and quantities before distributing parts
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the parts warehouse
- Assist with stocking, inventory organization, and receiving parts shipments
- Communicate with parts advisors and technicians to ensure accurate parts delivery
- Return unused parts and update inventory as needed
- Help maintain efficient parts flow between the service and parts departments
Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred but not required
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication skills with technicians and parts staff
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts as needed
- Basic computer skills are helpful
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move parts up to 75 lbs
- Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching are required throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or service department environment
