About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on litigation and commercial contracting to join its Legal and Compliance team. This senior role is pivotal in managing a range of legal matters, including litigation, commercial contracts, and select employment law issues, across the company's global business lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of litigation, from strategy development to cost management, and will also provide day-to-day legal counsel on employment and commercial matters. This includes overseeing employment disputes, contract claims, and intellectual property issues, as well as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should hold a J.D. from an accredited law school, be an active member of the bar, and have 8-12 years' of combined experience in commercial litigation and contracting, preferably within technology services, business process management, or professional services. The role requires a proven track record in managing complex litigation, negotiating large-scale commercial agreements, and providing clear, business-oriented legal guidance. Experience in global operations, AI governance, or technology licensing, and a background in high-growth, publicly traded environments are also preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at partnering with various business functions to ensure legal compliance and will be instrumental in mitigating legal risks at the deal structuring stage.
