Job Details Location: 6381 Shannon Rd., Los Gatos, CA 95032 Field Trip Dates: 6/5/2026 (Fri) - 8/12/2026 (Wed) Field Trip Hours: 8:45 am - 5:15 pm (actual shifts may vary) Hourly Wage: (determined using prior experience) $20.25 - $22.75 per hour. The pay range listed is what Steve & Kate's Camp anticipates offering. Compensation will depend on experience and other factors. Job Responsibilities Staff members will be responsible for chaperoning field trips, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. You’ll travel by bus to multiple stops while having fun with kids. Actively supervising campers Ensuring compliance with Camp policies Reporting and recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self Keeping track and being aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions Ideal Candidate Qualities Excited by guiding kids while they make decisions for themselves Calm under pressure and able to calm those around them Comfortable leading groups of kids on your own while collaborating with a team Passionate about sharing knowledge and learning something new, even if a third grader is doing the teaching Job Requirements At least 18 years of age Minimum 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred, in a professional, personal, or volunteer setting First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of camp (some locations may require additional certifications) By applying and accepting an offer you give Steve & Kate’s permission to email or text you Physical Requirements This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Steve & Kate's Camp, Bright Horizons, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in a schooled-aged camp setting to provide supervision, care, program delivery, and services per policies, procedures, and guidance in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of children in Steve & Kate's Camp's care.
