Account ManagerWe are seeking a motivated, customer-focused sales professional to manage one of our largest key accounts in the Chesapeake market while growing a portfolio of existing customers and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and has a strong sense of urgency when responding to customer needs.The successful candidate will be someone who:Is passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience.Takes ownership and demonstrates initiative without waiting to be asked.Is highly organized and detail-oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.Communicates effectively with customers, vendors, and teammates.Has strong problem-solving skills and follows through on commitments.Enjoys building lasting customer relationships and driving business growth.Reports to: Branch ManagerMinimum Qualifications:3+ years of electrical sales experience required (inside or outside sales experience will be considered).Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and business software.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of electrical distribution experience.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Experience managing key customer accounts and growing existing business.Proven ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities.Working Conditions:Conditions vary and will include warehouse, office and external environments. Activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office work may include sitting for extended periods.
