General Production Worker Position Summary Support production operations by processing and handling foam materials in a manufacturing environment. Load foam blocks into production equipment and monitor machine operations. Ensure product quality, accuracy, and efficient material handling throughout the production process. Work in a team-oriented manufacturing setting on a 2nd shift schedule. Key Responsibilities Load foam blocks weighing approximately 30 lbs into foam-slicing machines. Operate production equipment to cut foam into specified sheet sizes. Stack finished foam sheets onto pallets according to production requirements. Wrap and prepare pallets for storage or shipment. Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow production procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals. Required Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or related industrial environments. Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment. Ability to perform material handling and inspection tasks. Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a team-based manufacturing or production setting. Familiarity with palletizing, packaging, and shipping preparation processes. Strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Ability to adapt to changing production priorities. Work Environment Manufacturing facility with a team of approximately 30 production employees. 2nd Shift schedule: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Hands-on role involving machine operation, material handling, stacking, and pallet wrapping. Closed-toe shoes required at all times. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
