Senior Staff AccountantRobert Half is partnering with a reputable and growing organization in the Torrance area seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take on increased responsibility and play a key role in the company's financial operations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activityLead month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial data and variances, providing insights to managementAssist with financial statement preparation and reportingSupport audits by preparing schedules and documentationIdentify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controlsMentor junior accounting staff as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3-5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processesExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)CPA or CPA-track is a plusWhy This Opportunity?Stable, growing company with strong leadershipHigh visibility role with growth potentialCollaborative and team-oriented cultureCompetitive salary and benefits packageIf you're a detail-oriented accounting professional ready to step into a senior-level role, we'd love to connect.
