Payroll and Benefits Consultant POST NUMBER: 483526 [Remote]

Vaco has partnered with a company in need of an experienced Payroll & Benefits Consultant to step into a critical role following an unexpected departure. This individual will provide hands-on support across payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring business continuity and accuracy during a key transition period. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to quickly take ownership in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Consultant 
Location: Remote (Pacific or Mountain Time preferred) 
Pay Rate: $42 - $50 per hour 
Project Duration: 4-6 months (contract-to-hire preferred) 
Start Date: ASAP  

Responsibilities Include: 

• Process full cycle payroll accurately and on schedule  

• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments and changes 

• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations across applicable jurisdictions  

Qualifications: 

• Hands-on experience with payroll processing and benefits administration 

• Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance 

• Experience working within BambooHR preferred 

• CPP and/or CEBS certification preferred
