Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of individual, couple, and family dynamics to develop tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Providing psychotherapy services to clients via telehealth platforms as well as in-person sessions when necessary.
\n
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to address client needs.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) software to ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
\n
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals and community resources to facilitate referrals and enhance treatment outcomes.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings and case consultations to contribute to a culture of shared learning and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults grappling with various mental health issues. This role requires a strong emphasis on understanding and integrating the cultural backgrounds and individual needs of each family unit. Therapeutic modalities will be adapted to cater to the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, grief contexts, trauma survivors, and other specific client demographics.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, particularly working with children, adults, and families.

• A deep respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and a commitment to providing culturally competent care.

• Experience in modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• A specialization in areas like trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, or perinatal mental health is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunny Valley offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 – $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a sign-in bonus, additional performance bonuses, and benefits such as:
