You will be responsible for the designs solutions that support the Organization. As an Engineer, you will work with a diverse work force responsible for the development, design, fabrication, test, and delivery of MGSE to our customer. Job responsibilities include:- Develop mechanical design solutions of varying complexity using solid models, detailed drawings, and release of engineering data products.- Review requirements for systems and ensure design aspects (stress, dynamics, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.) meet those requirements.- Collaborate with peers, systems engineering, configuration management, manufacturing, etc. to ensure program requirements and schedules are met.- Contribute to the completion of Program achievements by the release of accurate, error-free, affordable and producible engineering designs. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3DCAD Modeling in PTC CREO or similar, mechanical drawing interpretation, experience problem solving mechanical and electromechanical systems, experience packaging electronic components, have good communications skills (both oral and written). Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance is required.Basic Qualifications2+ years professional experience with 3DCAD Modeling in PTC CREO or similar tools i.e. Solidworks, AutoDesk Inventor, etc. 2+ years professional experience with mechanical design model/drawing interpretation Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills.Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.Desired SkillsBachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or similarExperience with Electromechanical SystemsExperience with packaging or integrating electronic components into mechanical fixtures, cabinets, containers, etc.Knowledge of or experience in Mechanical Ground Support Equipment for test of flight componentsFamiliarity with industry standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS standards applicable to mechanical systemsFamiliarity with Engineering Data Product release process within the PTC Engineering Product Data Management (EPDM) system or similarExperience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and associated schematicsExperience with electrical systems and associated schematicsExperience with problem solving and solution developmentActive DoD Secret security clearance Interview QuestionsTeamwork: Tell me about a team project that you have worked on at school/work.
