Accountant

Accountant FLSA Status for this position is Full time Hourly Reports directly to the Controller First Call Hospitality, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our team in Fargo, ND. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our company's financial health through thorough bookkeeping and accounting practices. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records, including as a back-up for accounts payable. Prepare and review financial statements and reports. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting. Maintain bank account activity files; Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations. Process payroll on a weekly basis; timekeeping and related inquiries from field personnel Requirements Proven experience as an accountant or in a related role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Degree in Accounting or related hotel field experience is preferred.
