Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs using advanced evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective therapy sessions that enhance client engagement and progress.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards, ensuring the highest quality of care and confidentiality.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate holistic care, sharing insights and participating in regular case consultations to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their healing journeys.

• Stay abreast of current research, methodologies, and innovations in mental health to implement the most effective practices and improve treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Firefly, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. We cater to adults, adolescents, and families, understanding that each group has distinct challenges and needs. This role requires adaptability and a deep understanding of various therapeutic approaches to best serve our clients and promote their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

• Proven capabilities in solution-focused psychotherapy and the ability to adjust treatment strategies according to individual patient requirements.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding in client interactions.

• A track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams and showcasing a collaborative spirit.

Compensation and Benefits\n
