Our services include radio media tours, satellite media tours, audio news releases, and other broadcast-focused offerings for PR firms, corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies. We are willing to hire the right candidate at a range of levels if the fit is strong. Salary range for this role will be $40 - $50k. Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave, personal time, health coverage (including dental and vision), and retirement benefits. Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Account Coordinator at Strauss Media Strategies, Inc. The position will be fully remote for the foreseeable future. We’re looking for candidates with a background or interest in broadcast media — traditional radio/TV or podcasting/digital video. The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional experience (or strong internship experience) in public relations, media, or a newsroom environment. You should have a strong “make it happen” attitude, the ability to tackle both large and small tasks, and a solid understanding of current events. In this role, you will support a team of media relations professionals across a variety of projects and campaigns. Typical tasks include gathering media clips, drafting media advisories and client reports, conducting background research for upcoming projects, and assisting with new business presentations. You may also be involved with other firm-wide support, including scouting for vendors, working on relaunching websites, and event planning, as needed. This is an excellent opportunity to break into media relations and grow into roles focused on media pitching and client management.
