Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative treatment methods to optimize rehabilitation outcomes, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise regimens.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective rehabilitation and achievement of goals.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, injury prevention techniques, and safe exercises to adopt at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing orthopedic injuries, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, degenerative conditions, and acute pain management. You will have the opportunity to guide patients from various backgrounds, ranging from active athletes to older adults seeking to regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain certification.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential for this role.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and a deep understanding of orthopedic conditions and their management.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively educate and connect with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in a rehabilitation center or clinical environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
