Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, with physical therapy sessions conducted in the patients' homes. The home care setting provides a unique opportunity for you to establish a strong rapport with patients and to tailor treatments to their specific living environments. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, engaging regularly with healthcare providers, caregivers, and other rehabilitation specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, utilizing specialized diagnostic tools and techniques to identify their physical limitations and functional goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy and patient education to enhance recovery, ensuring that each therapy session aligns with the established goals and the patient's progress.
• Utilize independent judgment to deliver effective treatments while continually adapting strategies based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Maintain clear and supportive communication with patients and their families, keeping them informed about progress, challenges faced, and at-home rehabilitation strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, joint replacements, fractures, and other musculoskeletal issues. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and physical abilities, enabling you to make a significant positive impact on their recovery journeys. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or a Master's degree is preferred).
• An active Physical Therapist license valid in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
