Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and conditions to determine individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, fortifying strength, and improving balance and flexibility.
• Participate actively in the clinical instruction of physical therapy interns, students, and residents, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional development.
• Prepare and present in-service training sessions annually, contributing to the continuous education of our staff.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for clinical research initiatives, especially within your area of expertise, and engage in evidence-based practice improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
• Engage with family members or caregivers to educate them on ongoing care strategies and addressing any concerns regarding the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role involves addressing diverse demographic groups, collaborating closely with individuals seeking to regain function and mobility after joint repairs, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Your empathetic approach will be pivotal in fostering trust and facilitating each patient's journey towards optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing orthopedic physical therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong interpersonal abilities that enhance patient engagement and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred, showcasing advanced skills and commitment to the specialty.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging between $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
