Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Union City, our rehabilitation facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to provide comprehensive care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and shared goals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a work-life balance while maintaining the commitment to our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities upon their initial visit, considering their medical history and current health challenges to develop a tailored treatment plan.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions—including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities—to improve patients' mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Engage in continuous communication with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive treatment plan that encompasses all aspects of patient care and promotes optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies, therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and injury prevention techniques to empower them in their journey toward health and wellness.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment provided to uphold compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our team primarily serves patients with orthopedic concerns, including postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The therapeutic approach is highly individualized, addressing not only physical ailments but also considering the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery. Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably focused on outpatient or orthopedic care.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR for the healthcare professional.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, familiarity with manual therapy techniques, and a background in community health initiatives will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, along with performance-based bonuses for exceptional work.
