Personal Lines High Net Worth Account Manager

Job Summary The Personal Lines Account Manager for High‑Net‑Worth clients is responsible for conducting annual reviews of clients’ insurance programs, staying current on changes in clients' lifestyles that impact risk profile and coverages, negotiating with carriers on clients’ behalf, discussing potential risks, recommending appropriate coverages, including proposals of any changes or updates, and providing overall stewardship of risk management solutions for clients. Responsibilities Successfully manage own book of business through developing, maintaining, and expanding outstanding relationships with clients and successfully addressing their business needs. Review exposures and current insurance program for assigned clients. Determine if current carrier is the best fit to address the client’s needs in terms of coverage, protection, and cost effectiveness. Collaborate with producers regarding the development and decisions for proposed plans of action and coverages for new accounts to align with client needs. Provide daily service, anticipate customer needs, and respond to client questions and issues in a timely and consultative manner. Keep customers up to date on pending changes in the insurance world that may impact coverage. Monitor carrier activities to ensure they fulfill responsibilities (e.g., accurate issuance of policies & endorsements, timely claims handling). Complete account reviews. Ensure best‑in‑class account management to optimize customer experience and operational efficiencies, sharing feedback with producers on opportunities. Ensure all processes are followed on a timely basis to support business needs, including coverage review process, work in EPIC, and ensuring umbrella policies are updated. Identify and communicate any exclusions or changes to clients’ policies and any potential mitigating options. Remain informed on insurance companies, marketplace changes, coverages, exclusions, and options to provide the best possible service balancing cost and coverage. Education & Experience 3–5 years of prior insurance industry experience with High Net Worth clientele is preferred. Associate’s degree or higher desired, or equitable experience. Property & Casualty license required. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficient computer skills with agency management software; preference for experience with APPLIED EPIC. Demonstrates high level of initiative, teamwork, and resourcefulness to find win‑win solutions whenever possible. Pay Details The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000. Placement within the range is based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
