Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team on a remote basis, with in-person court appearances as needed in Los Angeles and surrounding counties, California. The attorney will manage a sophisticated family law caseload, including dissolution of marriage, child custody, and complex property division. Duties Handle dissolution of marriage and parentage actions. Manage child custody and spousal support cases. Oversee complex property division and domestic violence matters. Prepare pleadings, discovery, and engage in motion practice. Conduct mediation and trial proceedings. Requirements Admitted to practice law in the State of California. Minimum 5 years of dedicated family law experience. Strong command of California family law and local court procedures. Proven experience with complex property division and support analysis. Excellent litigation and legal research skills. Confident in court and mediation settings. Exceptional communication skills with clients and the court. Highly organized and able to manage multiple cases. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in California. Skills Strong legal writing and research abilities. Proficiency in managing high-net-worth cases.
