Quality Assurance Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for day-to-day design and execution of the QA tools to verify the quality of Data Science solutions. This role will validate the quality of data, model and various portions of the systems. The QA Engineer will be responsible for testing features and components produced by the Data Science Scrum development team and generating reports of QC results. This includes customer use cases, stress testing and performance testing. We're looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas within the skills of the future- Machine Learning or Deep Learning Model Based Development, Software, Systems and UI Development.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Control: a. Validate quality of input data and output results of models/solutions; b. Verify the designed features and components of models/solutions; c. Validate the entire pipeline including: data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, model inferencing, output delivery and logging;
• Write and execute test plans & test cases;
• Work closely with developers and other QA engineers to comprehend software terminology and technology;
• During design, development and testing, recognizes issues and takes responsibility for major issues to ensure that an effective solution is reached;
• Generate and automate QC reports;
• Write and automate validation scripts/programs;
• Install, configure, and use QC software.

Qualification:

• Proficient in SQL and Python. PySpark and/or NoSQL is a plus;
• Proficient in Scripting languages;
• Familiar with Windows Server and Linux;
• Proficient in any of the following languages is a plus: Java, C++, Scala, CUDA.
